David Gundlach
David Gundlach received the B.S. degree in physics and the M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. In 2001, he was awarded a Post Doctoral Associateship with IBM, and in 2003, he joined the Department of Physics at EHT Zurich as leader of their organic thin film and single crystal device research project. In November 2005, Dr. Gundlach joined NIST, where he currently serves as leader of the Macro Electronics Project for the Semiconductor Electronics Division.
Dr. Gundlach's current research interests include organic electronic and electroluminescent devices, molecular/nano scale devices, silicon-based devices and processing, novel device/system integration, and display technology. He is a member of IEEE.
