RoboCupSoccer - Nanogram Competition
Participating in the Contest
The first year of the RoboCup Nanogram competition will culminate in a demonstration at the July 2007 International RoboCup championships in Atlanta, Georgia. Participants in this first event should have demonstrated expertise in robotics, MEMS, or related fields, and should have access to the resources required to design, construct, and test micro-robotic devices.
To participate in this demonstration competition, teams should submit a Team Description Paper (TDP) to the contest organizers by October 15, 2006 (note the change of date from the previously specified deadline). The TDP must identify the following:
- The individuals contributing to the team.
- A primary contact for communicating with the team.
- The facilities available for fabrication, operation, and characterization of microrobots.
- An overview of the intended microrobot design.
- An overview of the fabrication processes to be used.
With the exception of the team membership and primary contact, this information will be kept private until the competition. The TDP can be mailed to:
